The fact is that you need a website that will effectively represent you and your work to potential clients and customers. It doesn't have to be fancy, but it does have to look professional and present your product or services in a compelling way so the viewer is motivated to contact you or make a purchase.

I had a Web development company from 1996 to 2002 and built dozens of sites for small business owners, many of whom grew their businesses exponentially because of their sites.
